Rope halters are made from polyester halter cord, typically 3/16" to 1/4" in diameter. Halters are finished with a black wax thread wrap and ends are melted together to create a strong, smooth finish. Additional finishes such as paracord finishes are completed overtop of the wax thread to maintain the integrety of the halter With made to order halters, you can choose from the colors and diameters available as well as from the different styles of typical rope halters.

 

  • Made to order rope halters will have the fiador knot, or the knot below the chin where the leadrope connects. Riding and other styles of halters will be under their own respective tab.
  • All tack here is handmade by a young sole proprietor, and the majority of tack and equipment is to order, so there is typically a 5 business day period between when you place your order and when it is shipped out.   • Not all colors or cord styles are going to be consistently available. We do rely on a 3rd party source for cordage and rope, so our supply of colors and kinds is dependant on what our supplier has available.

    RETURNS

    All returns must be postmarked within 21 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached. 

     

    RETURN PROCESS

    To return an item, please email us at prairiediamondhorsemanship@gmail.com, with "Returns" in the subject to obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMN). After receiving a RMN, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase and a printed out return form, and mail your return to the following address:

    Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return. 

    STORE CREDIT

    After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least 7 days of your item arriving to Prairie Diamond Horsemanship to process your return or exchange. We will notify you by email when your return has arrived and again once it has been processed. After your return has been processed, we will email you a redeemable code for store credit of 75% of the purchase price (not including tax or shipping) on outright returns or we will mail you the correct size on exchanges.

     

    EXCEPTIONS

    The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

    • Customs

    • Sale Items

    • A $5 restocking fee will be charged for all returns in excess of $25.

      Processing


      We process orders during our normal business hours.
      Unless otherwise stated, please allow 3 to 5 business days for us to process your order. Orders received before 11AM MST are usually shipped on the same day.
      We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, but sometimes life throws us a curveball. (Horses, am I right?) If we are experiencing longer than usual processing times, we will notify you either on our site or by email.

     

    Shipping Rates & Timing
     
      Prairie Diamond Horsemanship has multiple shipping rates, depending on either the product or the shipping method chosen. The shipping charge will be calculated and displayed during checkout. An estimate of the time it takes to deliver your order will be provided on our website. Please remember that the time it takes to process your order is a separate estimate from the time it takes to ship and deliver your order.
